The FireKing 4-2131-CSF Safe-In-A-File cleverly conceals a 2.4 cubic foot, burglary-resistant safe behind a false top drawer panel. The 4-2131-CSF comes standard with Medeco high security key locks on the regular drawer and the outer safe door (false drawer-head). The inner safe is dial combination locked. Features:

• Underwriters Laboratories® (UL) Fire & Impact Rated to protect paper contents. When exposed to external temperatures of over 1700°, the internal temperature of the cabinet will not exceed 350° for the number of hours it is listed (paper ignites at around 480°). The duration and maximum temperature of a fire in a building compartment depends on several factors and the cabinet may protect the contents for a longer period of time.

• Fireproof File Insulation is 100% gypsum, reinforced by a 1" x 2" lattice made of 14-gauge, galvanized welded-steel wire, providing complete peace of mind from fire, impact or explosion.

• ETL Media Certification protects electronic media such as hard drives, CD's, DVD's, flash drives, thumb drives from exposure to heat for 30 minutes. Does not protect against film/tape media.

• Water Resistant means that the file cabinet is designed to prevent water damage resulting from sprinklers and fire hoses.

• Safe body is made of 3/16" hot rolled steel; the door is constructed of 1/4" steel. Capacity is approximately 2.44 cubic feet.

• Safe Lock is a UL-listed dial combination lock (electronic lock available as an upgrade - please call for details).

• Drawer Lock included is a UL-listed Medeco high-security key lock. Lock can be upgraded.

• Drawer Pulls are surface-mounted to allow for extra insulation inside the drawer heads

• 2-Position Drawer Catch allows access to certain drawers while others remain locked.

• Drawer Heads are formed of welded steel and filled with fireproof gypsum insulation

• Letter filing requires an adapter bar for each drawer in order to accommodate hanging letter size files.
